Like most freelance creative people, I normally have a number of projects ‘on the go’. As always, life cycles between fruitfulness and abundance, and time for incubation. Although my working life is as busy as ever, a number of projects have come to fruition, and I am beginning new work, some of which includes text and image in combination; a sequence of prose poems; and as well my own painting. I am also in discussion with a painter regarding a bardic oracle! I’ve just finished the final draft of a novel, and am working on another. I am currently editing an anthology of work from the poetry group (‘Two Rivers’) I have tutored, in various line-ups, for the last twelve years.
Look out for three new anthologies (in which some of my work also appears): the Plymouth-based In The Presence of Sharks, in Jay Ramsay's new anthology of poems recognising the spiritual: Into the Further Reaches (highly recommended), and in Deborah Gaye's Pendulum (November 2007).
I enjoy collaborative work in particular, and elsewhere on this site are examples of such projects. I am always willing to consider new creative projects; and of course LOVE commissions.
